I've been employed as a ship captain for 13 years. I have traveled all over this earth, from Boston to Cape Town in Africa to The Red Sea to India to Australia to Japan to Hawaii to Portland. I've even been to Antarctica to drop off gear for an environmental study.
Not once have I encountered anything remotely resembling an edge or boundary of the Earth's surface nor have I ever had a conversation with any colleague who claims to have encountered such a boundary.
If the earth were flat, don't you think at least one person in my industry would have noticed?
