>>1604261Attempts at making different topics too sudently results in a situation where you have one Cirno thread talking about the fishe, one thread talking about how you pronounce her name, one thread about flags, one thread trying to continue the touch chain and that's when you end up with a situation where Cirno actually takes up 25% of the board, which is why it's staggered to cycle from one topic to the next on a periodic basis. Furthermore, the multi-thread tendency is a remenant from June where you had to have two Cirno threads up as one of the two tended to be shitposted to the point of being unusable and there were no mods around to delete the garbage posts, which in turn encouraged posters using that thread to not do anything meaningful because it was figured the thread would be nothing but shitposts to begin with, which is what the "The Cirno" thread is for. Threads are kept bumped for as long as humanly possible to prevent them from having to be remade constantly, and an early consideration during /bant/'s first months was making sure you didn't hit the image limit or deprive an artist of space to post their drawings.
If you want, I can show you some of the OC I have gathered over the months. One thing that really hurts us is whenever a creative person leaves or decides to quit working, and that is what leads to the periods of stagnation. Not all of it is Cirno.
