At a foundational level it comes down to the BS idea that mental health problems are due to "chemical balances in the brain". Ironically, there is no scientific proof for this despite it being the basis for every mental health drug. All the drugs prescribed to you do nothing but damage your brain but disrupting your hormones and natural neural functions. Mental health problems are a gut microbiome problem.
