If you've lost purpose in life, lost the motivation, nothing to cheer you up anymore... That's very unhealthy. Reasonable, but unhealthy.
You are supposed to fight for your life. I don't remember ever having a real fight in mine. Only stressful situations where I was facing hostiles (dogs and men) and situations where I was doing illegal things (vandalism when I was younger, being a stowaway in the present). I've never felt more alive. In these situations I was sweating, my leg was shaking of fear, my breath was labored, my body felt invincible.
If you stress yourself with office and work, you are living a product life. A family-friendly, childproof life.
That's not very good. Don't be misinformed that it's normal to have these "struggles" in your life.
You were supposed to become allies with a dog and hunt. Hunting life.
Now we tie collars to our dogs and take them for a walk.
I am not a strong man. I am not good at fighting. I don't remember hitting a person except kicking some classmates (a year younger than me) when I was a bully.
I remember the stress when I was in trouble. My body getting warm, stiff, trembling. I've never felt more alive.
