Don't get me wrong, its a fine scope, but these faggots want it to "gear signal" other faggots. A real shooter would outshoot them every time with a $200 bushnell. It sure as hell isn't anything you want to throw on a .223 because the round doesn't have enough mass to maintain velocity downrange and rides the wind like fairy dust. For .223 you want big objective low power for fast target acquisition inside of 200 yards 400 if you're feeling lucky on a calm day. Further out than that standard US procedure is back off, take cover and call in arty/air.
