There's cave paintings in France depicting some dude getting it on with a horse or antelope of some sorts, but that's not really concrete since no one knows if it's a thing that happened or just a gooner caveman's fantasy drawing. But going as far back as ancient Babylon and all throughout every era to modern days there are numerous recording cases of people being caught and punished for having sex with all kinds of animals. Imagine how many were never recorded, or how many did it and never got caught. Not saying it's common, but it is a thing people have done forever, and will continue to do as long as there are animals in society.
