How come progressives are always talking about the past? Why are they always crying and bitching about things that happened decades or centuries years ago? I was listening to NPR talking about how 142 years ago some Alaskan native community was attacked by the US Navy and now the US Navy is apologizing. When they're not talking about that they're talking about slavery and Jim Crow and the treatment of women in medieval Europe. I guess they do it to remind themselves of how morally superior they are to everyone who came before them while they drive past 52 abortion clinics and 275 homeless drug camps.
