>>16938127>we're shooting ourselves in the foot by putting the female on a pedestal even more, whether it's generated or notSo I've been doing an ongoing art project that involves taking memories important to me and how I mentally perceive them and trying to get Dalle or Stable Diffusion to spit out an image that matches my minds eye. Well I can almost always get the scene right with enough effort, I've had trouble with more unique places like the Bruneau Dunes in Idaho. I can always get the women to look just like I remember, usually sans face though but back turned works for what I'm trying to do. Memories aren't all that photorealistic.
But trying to conjure myself, like how I remember myself that day from a mirror or a reflection in a window or any other man really is so fucking hard. You get these generic kind shitty archetypes. Bald not bald, maybe the right jacket but not the right pants. Shit like that, body shape is always wrong with proportions hard to get right in any capacity that represents a real human. But women and girls, a cakewalk in comparison.
It's very frustrating but I get it. And your right we are elevating women even in our AI constructs.
