If you do all that your life will be back to normal I swear, everything starts and ends at socializing, which you can't do depressed, or with no self esteem or confidence. Weed is healthy and will not leave any bad things once you quit, and it's fine if you even don't really, it was easy for me to leave behind once I had a friend or 2 to go out with, and I had a nice physique so now I could spend free time on myself, and liking it, instead of feeling lonely and bad when by myself. I learnt to love my own company and that saved my life. Weed, lifting weights and meditation is the path to ascension.
