I've got a friend who's a big whiskey enthusiast and he gave me a little taste of some Japanese whiskey one time. It was the best thing I've ever drank, not even joking. It might have been pic related. Japan has a thriving whiskey industry which started during the Meiji Restoration in the late 19th century. In their attempt to LARP as Europeans, they established some very impressive whiskey distilleries.
