Without /SIG/ I wouldn't even have thought about self improvement until too late in my life. I really feel myself becoming a Chad now, you know? Everything in my life has been turning around for the better and I couldn't be happier.
Also, on another note, something that always gets me going on a positive note in the morning is waking up early and doing a "gratitude walk"- not only do you get that bit of morning cardio in, but you also get to thank the Lord for things that have made a positive influence for you.
