The extent of their knowledge regarding 4chan, or imageboards in general was limited and they turned /b/ from a board where people created OC (mostly derived from animu) into a cesspit of people pretending to be retarded, regurgitated memes and porn dumps. The regurgitated meme culture from neo-/b/ lives on in other boards, especially /pol/ and /r9k/ where people still ironically worship "le 10 year old maymay frog"
