They're handy trail markers in the mountains though - there's often little to no track here and can get a bit tricky once it gets cloudy. I'd rather see that than a stake with a bright orange tag on it which is what they use on a lot of better used tracks. (They're about 6in high, not 6ft like this angle might suggest.)
