Each 2 cores share an FPU, which Intel fanboys tried to spread misinfo about. Not all CPUs had FPUs in the past, so they can't be required for the definition of a 'core'. Nobody would refer to a 486SX - which didn't have an FPU - as a 'zero core processor'.
