“What the hell happened to you?” Cassie asks.
Lexi glares back at her bitterly. At least, it appears that way, it’s hard to tell with how battered and bloodied her face is. “Kanako happened,” Lexi hisses. “Came out of nowhere and SHOT me with something. Tranquiliser of some sort, must have been some damn strong stuff because it actually worked.”
Lexi sighs. “When I woke up I was tied up in a warehouse. She asked me shit about you. Nothing I could bloody answer, not like I know anything... Damn it I need a mirror, I need to see how bad this is.”
