It is only by overhearing Carmody's excited greeting that Sola realises who this is: the former APW World Champion, Brooke Phillips. Sola knows that many people think of her as nothing more than a Second City Skank, but even when she acts like a punk, Sola considered herself a fan. To many a handshake from someone like her would be done and forgotten, but Sola is nothing if not a wrestling fan first and foremost, so this really made her day.]Soon the training finishes, and Sola is feeling better than she has in a long time. The loss to Karna really hurt, and she never understood how others around here were able to come out of big losses without a care in the world. Maybe it's something she needs to work on. But enough wallowing in self-pity. She's signed her contract extension and is here for at least a little while longer yet.
But now is not about Sola. Carmody has a huge match coming up with Priscilla Divine, a woman Sola has only met once but feels has cost her numerous friendships already. Objectively speaking it is unlikely Carmody is going to win in only five minutes, especially when her overall power is so much lower than the champs. But can upsets happen? Of course. Those same rumours of a brutal upset in the main event scene have persisted with the move to HD-2K-23 cameras. Sola hopes and hopes again that there will be another one coming soon.
Sola Fire is all aboard the Carmody Train.
