They're popular mainly in Japan where they have a bigger presence than even Hololive with sponsorship deals and the like. For some reason Hololive got super popular in the West even before their EN branch, probably due to clip channels, and now this company is trying to follow them into the same market
If you look at their lineup... well, they're kind of just boring with little cohesion. Plus there's too many of them to form attachment to them as group, so people like them more as individuals than they do with Holos
