His job is to keep all who believe in him inactive. To maintain them as voters and nothing more. Voting is a minor action. He keeps them comfortable and convinced that the "storm" is coming to save America and they can just sit back as the demographic trends continue in a direction slated to solidify a permanent Democratic majority.
Trump is like Reagan, as a Republican he can get away with things a Democrat would catch more shit for from American patriots, conservatives and nationalists. In Trump's case, he over-focuses on "black employment" numbers, sending as much aid to Israel as possible and trying to get non-white voters in general.
While under a Democrat this would be prime material for radicalization and redpilling, under Trump it's just "triggering the libtards"... by submitting to "libtard" ideology completely and entirely.
QAnon is a conscious effort by the Trump administration to keep people enthusiastic so they'll come back in November to vote. This wouldn't itself be a bad thing if he weren't also trying to convince all these people that everything's taken care of, don't worry, don't fret, Q and Trump have everything planned.
