>>15368150>you know, I was thinking, is it natural for people to be needing motivation to do stuff?Yeah, I think so, I mean, that's just what motivation is, it's what's necessary for you to be able to do stuff, at least enthusiastically and at your best. For something like making music, that need to hear other's thoughts on what you're making is as natural as it gets, if you're taking something like that serious, then reception of whatever kind is probably the one most important thing you need to stay motivated, yeah. You can have some fun doing it on your own without any feedback for a while, sure, but, after some point you just need some thoughts other than your own to wanna keep doing that sort of thing any longer. I don't think that's stupid at all, sounds completely normal to me.
>I made a friend who makes music, so that kinda motivated me to get back into it, and it's niceThat's good to hear then, hope you can get a circle of some sort for sharing that kind of thing and have some drive, although, no need to force yourself to keep going with it if you lose motivation again, I mean, you grow out of things, and that's alright.
