Pendulous vanes on the metal casing of vacuum powered Attitude indicators will correct for Earth's curvature, over long distance flights. But of course they are going to be used more in adjusting after changes to pitch or banking maneuvers.
Do you believe that navigation systems (for purposes other than things like commercial travel) requiring more detail don't explicitly for Earth's shape, or things that are at least an outcome of Earth's shape?
