>>17330275I was gonna make a thread about this but here I go:
There is no common consensus on what is considered 'good anime.' In fact, there is no 'good anime' whatsoever and even the so-called 'elitists' who constantly shill old shit from the 70s like World Masterpiece Theater or something later like Dezaki or LOGH are no less better than your katana-wielding, pillowfighting neckbeard weaboos who think they're enlightened just because they watched some shit that made them feel 'sophisticated' as such.
The best thing to go about it is that if you must, find something that inspires or compels you to read or watch something. Don't listen to people who recommend something just because they think it's just good. Those are glowbot shills covertly designed to change your subconscious and manipulate your worldview on anime in an effort to radicalize you into thinking that picrel in OP is ripe fruit made to bear.
Stay away from lolicon/shotacon/ecchi/smut/gender bender/SOL/School life/Shoujo/Josei/Shounen manga. These are designed to trick you into believing their bullshit Pseudo-Marxist narratives. Stay away especially from any edgy Seinen that are also designed to make you think or feel you're enlightened by reading a 'mature manga.'
