you will never hear this because everyone reads this at school and is told to interpret it one way and one way only. but in the poem my last duchess, the duke is actually objectively correct and what he does is justified. you would know if you had to deal with a similar type of woman. it crashes your soul when you work so hard to make her happy and have a good time, to see her smile to you, and the next day she does the exact smile to a complete stranger saying hello.
