Because if Mars happens to have a thicker atmosphere than the 5-9Mbar they claim, it means, you dont need a heavy pressure suit.
All you need is warm clothes and an oxygen tank.
It also likely has a thicker than the 5mbar they claim, because Nasas "ingenuity" helicopter could magically fly there. Even though the 5mbar is approximately same as 50km altitude on earth. Even if Mars's lower graviry is taken into consideration, theres no way anything flies in 5mbar. Mars likely has at least 200-300Mbar.
