mostly word. i can get reaction videos to a degree, but a lot of the "reaction youtube" circle is really horrible. it's mostly just extremely low effort "wacky man watches silly video" and that's the death of culture, but there's a lot of cases where there's a bit more to it.
for example watching pro players react to content about their game can be really interesting since they're putting forward insights and perspectives you wouldn't see yourself instead of just going "whoa that's crazy man ahahaha." even if it's just them reacting to some highlight reel or something they'll often point out small details or explain more nuance of a situation that would go over most viewers heads. that one producer who does kpop reactions is another good example of this in my opinion. he's not saying "omg slay queens aaa stan loona my favorite part was when chuu hit that note yaas" but instead giving more reasoning as to why he likes the music and noting a lot of things in the production that most viewers would never have any chance of noticing themselves
highlights of a streamer watching meme compilations can also be alright to be honest. the angle to come at that from is usually that if you have the same sense of humor as the streamer you'll laugh at all the same stuff they will and the parts where they laugh are the parts that will make a highlight reel. of course it's also contingent on them adding extra jokes on top of the video instead of literally just sitting there and chuckling, but that's pretty standard practice at this point
