you know, when I started this thing called avid in 8th grade and was being bullied without a chance of being able to fight back (lest you wanted to be called a "Snitch") I think I even remember describing SOME people as cattle on the side of the road (I described them as something else but I'd rather use that as an example because even I doubt my coincidences in life sometimes) as part of a poetry assignment. My teacher, who was never that positive of a person, wrote a note next to my grade saying "that's not true, there's some good in people".
A week later she left without warning and was replaced by a guy who was completely negative by comparison..
