Around the North and Baltic sea, including right where he is from, and ultimately, likely, from Scandinavia. That's likely where the modern hindus have inherited it from days of yore. It's possible that the aboriginals (you/poos) developed it. That's likely where he picked it up. But it's possibly something from his ancestors anyways.
