The funny thing is, when he moved in he met his neighbor and he thought it was "cool" that he was living in such a diverse neighborhood. He and his neighbor exchanged phone numbers etc. First couple times he dealt with loud music in the AM or late at night he texted his neighbor, let him know it was really loud, and he turned it down.
Eventually though the neighbor stopped responding to my friend's texts. My friend is from a very white suburb and despite being in his late 20s has never lived around black people or dealt with bad neighbors before. So far, he has now called the cops twice on his next door neighbor due to noise complaints. Neighbor has retaliated by banging on my friend's door apparently (which my friend caught with his recently installed camera system).
I don't think this will end well, I just hope my friend can sell and move back to the white suburbs
