>>15024835I imagine it's because its online. When you're in a room with someone you are more likely to agree on something and talk things over. That is unless it is a debate. No one wants to argue in real life since theres a good chance of hurting others or getting into a fight. Online you don't have consequences. You also speak directly from your head to text instead of getting to hear yourself and the content of your argument. It's also easier to discuss things online since like you said, you can just quote someone and blame you if they run out of things to say.
