>>14308632Uhm, the original Israelites were basically Canaanites who turned to Yahweh-worship. The biblical tales were pretty much unfounded on actual history.
(I mean, just look at how much disagreement there over history within the last couple centuries, despite extensive recording. Now, imagine you're a bunch of sheep-herders who just discovered writing and copied oral stories into some religious canon.)
The Bible clearly took stories from established Middle-Eastern pagan mythology and made their own twist on it. Israel's name literally comes from the Canaanite word for god. There is evidence to suggest that early Yahweh worship was actually monolatristic or even polytheistic, with Yahweh just being the chief-god or the only god worth worshiping.
'Arabs' aren't a real race. Levantine Middle-Easterners are genetically closer to Southern European than they are to Bedouins. Same with Egyptians. Basically, Arabic is just a language that managed to be spoken widely among different peoples due to the expansion of Islam.
Of course, Palestinians are Canaanite by descent. They literally live on the same land.
Jews are basically half-Canaanite/Israelite and half European in their DNA due to interbreeding with European gentiles.
Basically, the rise of Biblical Israel was not Israelites conquering Canaanites, but Canaanites overthrowing their old religion in favor of a new one.
And, there are white Levantine Middle-Easterners that are indistinguishable from Europeans, especially Southern Europeans.
