>>21182426Well look at like this. Years ago I couldn't read anything in Japanese. To me being able to read fluently was such a absurdly far away milestone I thought I would spend years never getting it at all. To be fair it is a very hard language.
But now I can read mangas pretty decently and have entire pages where I don't need to look up a single word.
Is this an exception?
When I got more into music I could not transcribe for shit, figuring out notes were impossible and I thought I would never get there. Now figuring out melodies are much easier for me and now I'm working on figuring out chords.
It's very hard to predict your human growth because you using the present and past as reference to extrapolate processes you don't understand or have control over.
