if you're in a guild that serious about raiding you can get benched because your class is slightly less convenient for a fight than the next guy, someone else has practiced a specific random ass strat more than you have, a balance patch hit, just because they want to try mixing it up, or literally any other reason under the sun. surely you knew that going in. it would be impossible to get into the guild in the first place without knowing that.
your ability to be a part of a progression team in a guild like that is almost nothing but RNG from the get go. obviously there's nothing wrong with wanting to play in that sort of environment but it's absolutely absurd to me that you would knowingly put yourself in that situation and then let the takeaway be that the RNG on legendary drops is the primary problem.
you say i "finally" understand because you had done literally nothing to communicate the situation other than whine about getting benched because you didn't have a legendary and your line of logic that i was supposed to arrive at is so absolutely unfathomable that i honestly hadn't even considered it as a possibility
