>same posting stylesI completely disagree with this. the internet has become so much more widespread and accessible in the past decade. people who would have no interest in coming to sites like this; those who don't really care about a particular topic, be it anime/games/otherwise, come here anyway because it's the "hip" and "cool" thing to do. they've dumbed down the general userbase of a website like this and ostracized the people who made it interesting in the first place.
4chan has become an echochamber, just like most other places on the internet. having a differing opinion, or not conforming to a specific ideology will get you attacked here just as much as anywhere else.
i'd also like to make the point that these people killed the sense of community imageboards had. people originally came together in places like this because they were genuinely passionate about a topic and wanted to share their love of it with others. by bringing outsiders in who have no passion or interest in a subject they lost their original spark.
>>2343387i'd prefer if you were to add your own opinion, or build upon mine, instead of just posting "this". it's the equivalent of saying "I have nothing to add but I still felt like posting". imageboards aren't chatrooms, you should think carefully about every post you make
