>>11873655>And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?>And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.> And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.Exodus 3:13-15
>Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad.>The Jews therefore said unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?>Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born, I am. -John 8:56-58
>After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.>There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.>Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.>Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” -Matthew 17:1-4
I'm coming to the conclusion that the entire time it was in fact Jesus who was operating in the Old Testament and the New Testament. I don't think the Father ever actually showed up in the Bible outside of the time Jesus got baptized by John.
