>hard enough to take care of yourselfyeah I totally agree but having pets has made me take better care of myself because I have a responsiblity to look after them. the only reason I even get outta bed and don't just spend all day bedrotting is because I have to look after my birds. they also mean I cant go on drug binges or kill myself and while I rarely take drugs these days and would never kill myself its good having a reason not to that pops into my head as soon as I think of these things :)
