ugh the panzer corps 2 campaigns get so boring in the late game cause in the late game pretty much all nations have relatively powerful vehicles and lots of planes plus the ai gets like 10 times more the units you can possibly field so all the scenarios just turn into this predictable seesaw where for the first like 5 turns you're defending and killing all the planes that ai has so your artillery doesn't get bombed and then for the remaining turns you're just easily killing out all the remaining troops with your op artillery and op cas planes and there's absolutely no challenge in that it's just tiring and time-consuming and in the end you still get the same "ugh it's over we need to retreat" historical thing even if you literally destroyed all the enemy troops and captured all the possible control points
