>>11033192It's called: The Lost Emu
The Emu was travelling with his pack across the vast and wild outback when they reached a dust bowl, the dust kicked up was so thick that the Emu was separated from his family. Our Emu was terrified and alone and the sun was setting so he went searching for his family, this is when he spotted a farm house in the distance.
The Emu ran to the farm and asked the farmer if he had seen his family. The farmer ignored the Emu and continued cursing under his breath as he pulled limp crops out of the soil. The Emu spoke louder and the farmer told him to get lost.
Our Emu ran down a road and saw a person parked on the side. They were kicking their car and shouting at it. The Emu asked for help but they ignored the Emu. The Emu spoke louder once again and the driver told the Emu to pester someone else.
The Emu was upset and all alone until an Own flew to him.
"Emu, Emu, don't be sad! The people had their own share of bad!"
"Turn back before the night; and try again, this time polite!"
The Emu nodded and returned to the driver, his car had broken down and the Emu helped him fix it. The driver was so pleased he took him to the farm. Both of them helped the farmer clear up his locust eaten field and the farmer helped them navigate. Together they found the Emu's family.
You should always give people the benefit of the doubt, if they seem angry it is likely not at you but their day could have been sour. Try not to judge others too soon.
