>>15933297>why 50 instead of 55?Why 55 instead of 50, I mean. Or, hell, why not 60? They just had to make it in-between? Or, Is 55 the exact point where somebody is considered an old person? That's very oddly specific. I don't know about you, but, I don't consider 50 year old people young. And, I'm guessing that 50 is a retirement age, indeed. Neither are 54 year old people young, also. Is 55+ just the name used for it, and people slightly under 55 can still apply? But, then, why have such an arbitrary and misleading name? Imagine if you wanted to settle your poor little 54 year old grandpa in one of those places, but, nope, apparently he's just not old enough yet, give him a couple more years. Does that make any sense? But, seriously, why 55+? I mean, you could just do 50+, and that would be fair, right? Or 45+. I think that sounds best. Maybe 50+, I don't know. Just not 55+, yeah? Like, what, are they trying to cut old people a slack and make it easier for them to settle into places, but also at the same time trying to squiggle their way out of really having to do it? That goes for if it's a state-enforced matter, by the way.
If it's a community thing, like the old people there have just marked their territory and you can't get in there, which sounds strange, but okay, then it's even weirder. What's with the specific age discrimination, in that case? A 55+ year old is accepted into the community, but a 54 year old is not considered one of their own and just kept at the gates? No, it can't be a community enforced thing, that just sounds retarded. Has to be the government.
People are okay with this, also? Nobody has ever really brought it up and questioned this reasoning before?
>>15932796Thanks, the same hopes for you.
Although, is it really true that you guys don't have AC over there? I've been very curious on why lately, if it's true. I mean, we have AC, over here of all places, and you don't? Makes no sense to me. Have a cold cup of water, by the way.
