Something I had hoped to avoid just happened: they tested me for covid, because they're thinking of transferring me to a hospital an hour away.
Got C-T scan; on IV pain killer, antibiotics and Saline.
So far: 7.5 mm Kidney stone in urethra, might need extraction. Urologist won't be here til Tuesday, so might send me to him on Opelika.
WBC ^, blood/infection in urine, BP ^.
Temp 97.0.
Waiting to hear what they'll decide.
At least I know why I was in such pain.
Other than that...I'm Super Dee Duper. The staff is excellent and friendly. The pain meds work (toradol).
