>>15440232>i never got bread anywhere else in the world that was on that level. It really was remarkable. I try to not 'fetishize' food too much, as I cook for a living and the less romantic I am about my work the easier it is to take criticism without it getting personal, if that makes sense. But damn, I would have a baguette with breakfast, a Brotzeit spread at a different place every day and then usually some kind of hard roll with dinner, ALL of which tasted different and complimented the meal quite well. My chick would enjoy watching my brain try to understand that bread is supposed to taste like grains and shit, not just refined flour and a shitload of sugar.
Im from NJ too, which is regarded as one of the best areas for bread in the US (hard water makes bagels and pizza taste different, I guess). But the bread I had there was like an entirely different level.
>>15440233Well that and frying literally anything they fucking can. Thanks black coworkers for introducing me to 'double fried wings'
>>15440235check'd and kek'd. Cooking really is gay, but cooking in a volume kitchen is like top tier faggotry most of the time. Whole shift is a game of gay chicken, while cooking the occasional shrimp scampi.
