My chick would enjoy watching my brain try to understand that bread is supposed to taste like grains and shit, not just refined flour and a shitload of sugar.
Im from NJ too, which is regarded as one of the best areas for bread in the US (hard water makes bagels and pizza taste different, I guess). But the bread I had there was like an entirely different level.
