>>5928210FUCK i was just playing Fallout New Vegas, doing some quests like usual, and I was doing this quest with Cass where you either kill Gloria Van Graff and Alice McLafferty, or find evidence that they're destroying caravans, and I decided to kill them thinking nothing of it. But, when you kill McLafferty, it makes you FUCKING SHUNNED FROM THE NCR even if no one sees you doing it or anything because this game is gay and has a retarded karma system. Like seriously if you kill all of the Van Graffs at the Silver Rush there's no penalty but god forbid you try to SLEEP IN THEIR BEDS, NOPE! THAT'S NOT ALLOWED BECAUSE THEY STILL OWN IT EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE ALREADY FUCKING DEAD.
So I'm in the middle of this gay quest, already killed Gloria, and I'm in the Crimson Caravan place setting up a plasma mine to blow McLaffrety's head off. And guess what happens? BOOM! YOU HAVE BEEN SHUNNED FROM THE NCR!
So I did what any sensible player would do, I loaded back a save, and tried to do the quest the "peaceful" way by getting the notes in the Silver Rush and Crimson Caravan safes that contain proof that they're working to destroy caravans. And guess what? THE NOTES FUCKING DISAPPEAR IF YOU ALREADY STARTED THE HOSTILE ROUTE OF THE QUEST. Talk about realism.
Then I tried to use console commands to take advantages of the benefits of being a PC player. So I revived Gloria Van Graff, thinking her being alive may be a required trigger to do the peaceful ending, and used the "setstage" command to revert to a previous stage of the quest. And guess what happens now?
THE COMMAND DOESN'T FUCKING WORK
Thanks Kojima.
