Of course, maybe the video looks so unbelievably fake because the quality is bad. But unfortunately for us NASA ""lost"" the original moon footage, they ""accidentally"" taped over it.
Because of this, all the footage you see is filmed off of a monitor in a TV studio in Australia, a camera pointing at another screen.
Luckily we still have their amazing photography from the moon to look at. (Pic related)
