"Don't trust people who do things like that for you. They're not your friends."
"I know... I'm just glad he left."
"Yeah. So now you can actually enjoy your ice cream?"
She laughed, and I looked at her and said "be safe out there. Don't trust people like that."
I never saw her come in dressed that way again, and her friend was always outside with a big dog from that point forward.
I don't know if what I said to that girl made a difference, but I feel like I did the right thing.
