We are free to choose our own direction at best, and at worse we are without an innate telos. Secular society is meaningless, it is nihil it has no innate telos because there is nothing to provide that telos other than the fleeting whims of people that they rationalize. Perhaps this is because you cannot rationalize what is inherently irrational?
