Chink, both Mandarin and Cantonese, sound horrible, Korean sounds like a down syndrome retard speaking, Vietnamese, Thai, and the other SEAmonkey languages isn't any better, and Tagalog is the equivalent of rubbing sandpaper on the eardrums.
Japanese has a lot of good anime and movies to watch, and isn't annoying or ear bleeding. Also has good books written back in the day, especially during the time of The Empire of Japan. People will have some respect for you if you can speak conversationally/read casually also.
