he died when i was 3, but it seems like he was a very manic and interesting guy, i always wished i'd gotten to know him personally
he did leave some memoirs but they're often cryptic lol

probably still worth visiting, but i've heard the water in the past was almost clear, and you could see through it from a distance, sorta like the water in those artificial island/lake megaprojects in dubai
which is pretty unheard of for most natural beaches i've seen & know of today
