That still had a rotating turret, however the gun was a much smaller caliber than the main cannon, the 75, which was located in the hull off to the side, although it could still be swiveled. The M4 Sherman always had a rotating turret and was the adoption by the US of the now standard tank configuration made popular by the Renault, albeit they did it rather slowly
