The main characters are very well realized so the comedy just comes from throwing them into a bunch of different situations (with the same theme of trying to force a confession out of the other usually). It would depend on if you like them, the direction and voice acting add a lot of value too.
Can't remember whether the first episode was especially good but you'd probably know just from watching it.
