Protestant = Remain in the Union
With Catholics having more kids then the protestants the protestants will be a minority in a few decades you would think a united ireland would be upon us soon.
However, Sinn Féin are the single most retarded party in existence and really only hop on popular trends to get votes, most Catholics where i live don't even vote for them and the ones that do only do so because of a united Ireland. Some Catholics don't even want a united Ireland anymore because of the benefits we get from the union such as the NHS. And on the flip side of that some protestants don't mind a united Ireland.
And we have to take in consideration the Republic of Ireland as some people don't even want us anymore and our economy is shit so the south would have to subsidize us and this would led to more tax.
Tis a really complicated issue but most people are happy with the way things are right now although brexit might change that
