>>15613630On SGDQ? Not really any, other than, I don't get any of it. I don't get why you'd sit there just watching random people run random games, of which 90% will bore and not interest you. You could be doing literally anything else with your time. Like, you could be laying in your bed and staring at the floor, and I genuinely, honestly, consider that a better way to spend your time than watching these speedrunning events. If you're interested in how the way that a game you like is ran, then, you can just simply look up the WR run or whatever, which will be way more quality than however a GDQ run will come out. I suppose the commentary is the attraction, but, come on. Imagine being one of the people that just sit there for hour and watch the whole thing. Just, why. Can't you simply wait until the event is over then look through the catalogue of runs that were made in it, and only watch whatever interests you? And, I'm assuming that there are people who watch the entire thing, because, there just are, you know it, and it's probably a lot of people. I really don't get it, whatever reason I could make up is just stupid too, I can't comprehend it. These events suck. But, if anything autistic happens in them and gets put up later, then, that's cool, I guess it's good for that, yeah. I doubt as many funny things happen in them nowadays as back in the day, though, so, it's lackluster in that regard, too. They just suck, I don't know why people watch them, it's dumb. Oh, and, I don't get the raising money for charity thing. Do you really need a speedrunning event or whatever to happen for you to go throw money to a charity? Why couldn't you do it before? Why's it considered so holy when they make a charity stream, when that's the case? I don't get any of it, whatever.
Oh, and, uh, thoughts on /v/ and the thread itself, if you meant that, well, not many, bad board and bad thread.
