yeah it's sort of a tossup with that sort of thing. you generally sacrifice some of the original message and/or subtleties for something that just straight up reads better. in my opinion it's generally the better option when going for something lighter that's meant to be consoomed on its own like english song versions or action anime/movies but for things where the original message needs to be conveyed closely like translated lyrics for reading or dramas it's probably better to just accept more awkward wordings for more accurate understanding.
